OpenBots Web Automation: Chrome Extension for Web Automations
OpenBots Web Automation is a free Chrome extension developed by openbotsdev. This extension is designed to facilitate communication between OpenBots Studio and the Chrome browser, enabling users to perform web automations seamlessly.
Upon launching the Chrome application, the extension initiates communication with the Chrome native server, which is built in C#. This allows the client application, OpenBots Studio, to send and receive messages to and from the extension through the native server.
With the OpenBots Web Automation extension, users can perform a variety of actions on web pages directly from OpenBots Studio. These actions include clicking web elements, setting text, retrieving text, extracting HTML tables, retrieving HTML attributes such as id, name, class, and xpath, scrolling to specific web elements, and setting/getting dropdown values.
